Joe "B.O.S.S." Scott CEO Official Media "I used to be Bo$$ Playa but now that's deceased, my name Joseph meaning Jehovah's Increase...." In fall of 2006 B.O.S.S. released his first independent album (as Boss Playa) entitled Middle East America. However, after an encounter with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ he realized that the album as well as his former stage name did not represent him well. After careful consideration B.O.S.S. stopped producing secular music altogether. He also dropped his name and for a period time went by only Joseph, his real name, because it means "Jehovah's Increase". |
| In the summer of 2007 B.O.S.S. joined a Christian
fraternity--Alpha Nu Omega, Incorporated. On the day he crossed, he
was given the acronym B.O.S.S. (Boldly Overtaking to Save Souls).
Excited by this, he adopted his line name as his new stage name. He
realized God blessed by giving him new life while his old nature is
passed away (1 Cor. 5:17). Right now, under the guidance of the
Holy Spirit, he is working on his first Christian rap album which
will be entitled "Boldly Overtaking to Save Souls". In 2008 B.O.S.S. was the Program Director for WordUpFM.com's Open Mic Nite, where he got much exposure and experience in ministering and reaching the lost. However due to unfortunate events WordUpFM is no longer in existence. The need for venues to minister through Urban Worship caused B.O.S.S. to begin Official Media. Under the banner of Official Media, B.O.S.S. will produce music, podcast, and will eventually grow into a conglomerate of Christian Entertainment. He is trusting God for the increase in every area of his life. |

Struggled with life decisions with no fatherly guidance, constantly found himself in bad situations--one of them almost costing him his life. Fatally stabbed, but by the grace of God he has been bless to see another day. Lying in the hospital bed gave him time to reflect on his life. He expresses his past and his new found hope in Jesus Christ all through his rap. "This is my life nothing sugar coated..." is how he has related his testimony to others. |

Graduate of Hofstra University with a BA in History and Jewish Studies with a minor in International Affairs. She developed a deep interest in human rights issues, especially human trafficking and aspires to attend law school so she can further her interest in human rights affairs as an international lawyer. She believes as a Christian, one must be proactive in efforts to spread the gospel, which is apparent in the line of news she reports.
