After realizing the need for new venues for Christian Rap and Hip Hop artists to promote their music, especially independent artists, B.O.S.S. decided to use his previous training and exposure in entertainment and radio for the edification of the Kingdom of God. Official Media was created in 2008 because of the need to further Christian Urban music.

B.O.S.S. feels strongly that Christian Hip Hop and Urban Worship are under-appreciated genres of music. He feels Official Media can connect to a generation of people that may not relate to traditional Gospel music but can still hear the Word of God. Official Media was intended to be an umbrella for all forms of entertainment that glorify God. In the future, with God’s help Official Media will be a source for all forms of Godly entertainment and ministry.
